Where do I find the time to post, read and filter through MBA related articles?
Question: Do you spend like all day reading through stuff to find interesting articles? Where do you get all the time?
Answer: I had a feeling I would get comments about my numerous article submissions on my Blog and comments about the amount of time I spend. Actually, what I do is I use RSS and Aggregate blogs to preview the info for me. I use bloglines to pick up just the first paragraph of an article. If it seems interesting, I read further. In fact, if you want to see the business RSS feeds that I review, you can go to http://www.bloglines.com/public/DaveforMBA and you'll see it for yourself.
The following newspapers have RSS feeds that I can filter and choose articles in particular areas that I'm interested in.
USA Today Wall Street Journal New York Times Financial Times Business Week
Then there is mbamap.com that aggregates MBA related info already filtered for MBA key words.
It takes me 10 minutes 1 or 2 a day to filter through the information.
I guess it comes down to the best use of my time for the biggest bang for the buck. I know it must seem like I peruse tons of info to find the articles, but I don't. Until two weeks ago, I didn't have this sort of access and was only informed about articles that may be of interest from MBA Admin consultants who post articles on their Blogs or from other Bloggers.
