Landmark actions are taking place to re-visit the notion of creation a "Masters in Business Design" Although the movement first started at Wharton. The re-inventor is Stanford. Recently, the Harvard (main school) President Lawrence H. Summers really messed up Thursday. He gave a speech about school initiatives where representatives from most of the top schools were present. He made some comments that rubbed women in the audience in a wrong way. One women admin staff from MIT first went to the press about it. Lawrence will be releasing the transcript of his speech... but the damage is still done.
In an article released today, the Dean of HBS was interviewed. A few questions about the situation with Lawrence was asked, but then the interview turned into a good informational Q&A about HBS itself. Application questions were asked on how a case study could be created out of the Lawrence fiasco. Ah yah!
