    Duke(Fuqua) clarifying their MBA customization

    This was just added to the Duke(Fuqua) web site in the last 24 hrs.

    Academic Concentrations
    Concentrations are offered in all of the major functional areas (such as finance, marketing, strategy, accounting, and operations), in professional tracks (for example, consulting), and in topical areas (such as leadership, international business, and social entrepreneurship). Each concentration requires a student to take six elective courses prescribed by the concentration; in most cases, there is choice among electives within each concentration. No matter the career path, the initial grounding in the principles and practices of general management gives Duke MBA students a strategic, global perspective that serves them well throughout their careers.
