You may hear your prospective students who plan to test in 2006 talking about calling Pearson VUE instead of ETS®. That is because the new registration system for people who want to take the test beginning in January is now up and running.
The new system is one of a series of steps that will make the GMAT® even more useful to you. Other tools include a new score reporting system that will give you more information and make it easier to access GMAT® results. We’ll be rolling this new system out over the next several months.
The new system is hosted by Pearson VUE, a business of NCS Pearson, Inc., the company that will deliver the GMAT® test in 2006 and beyond. As you may be aware, Pearson VUE and ACT, Inc., are taking over responsibility for administering and developing the exam from Educational Testing Service®.
ETS® will continue to be responsible for running the GMAT® until the end of 2005, and people who want to take the exam until then will register using the ETS® registration system. Test candidates will indicate whether they want to test in 2005 or 2006 before being directed to the appropriate registration facility.
The best way to register for the GMAT® exam will remain our mba.com Web site. Test takers may also register by phone, mail, or fax, using the contact information that will be available at mba.com and in the new GMAT® Bulletin for Testing in 2006.
