From Kristine Laca, the director of admissions at Tuck. She writes... Yeah, I checked nothing on the web site shows what she mentions. This was taken from Business Week Forums referred to me by Byron.. I checked it out. It's legite. - DaveforMBA
Just a quick message to allay any concerns about the size of the Tuck Class of 2006 or 2007 - our target class size remains 240. Yes, the unusually high yield this year surprised us, but I do think it is a positive reflection on how the uniqueness of the Tuck experience resonates with people who value both academic rigor and a strong sense of community.
We still have a profound commitment to maintain a small class size. For that reason, we have offered a limited number of deferrals to all enrolled students in the Class of 2006. A few people have already decided to take us up on the offer, so I believe that we are going to be in great shape by August.
For those of you planning to apply to Tuck, we would love to help you learn more about Tuck. If possible, I encourage you to visit us in Hanover in the fall. You can attend classes, interview, have lunch with Tuck students ...and see for yourself if Tuck is the right environment for you. The new application, the Tuck US / international event schedule and the on-campus visit / interview registration schedule will all be available on-line in mid-August. As for our application deadlines:
Early Action: October 18, 2004
Round One: December 1, 2004
Round Two: January 17, 2005
Round Three: April 18, 2005
