I registered at many schools well before the deadlines and never got a mail about the day essays are released..dont know WTF these schools achieve by being secretive; 10:04 PM
Anonymous said...: You are so right! Tuck esp sucks at it. Last yr I sent in my app on 12-Jan (R3), and the ONLY communication from their side was on 17-Mar telling me the outcome of the app. They didnt even have the courtesy of informing applicants that the application has been received, completed etc. Not even an automated mailer.

But ya I guess most schools, though not as bad, do not deal with it properly.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

The adcom at Tuck has been otherwise very responsive to whatever qns I have had about Tuck over the last 6 months...

Lets see - have informed them about this lack of info on the site as well as email info to people who have registered...

Anonymous said...: the schools are not being secretive and feel it is more of a "dont give a crap" mentality on the part of the web master / AdCom for each of the schools.

I have yet to find a "technologically challenging" MBA web site. That is, they are all simply-coded and are not difficult to maintain or update.

E-mail has been around for more than 20 years. Many of the admissions staff have MBA's themselves. Why is this simple task overlooked? It's time for change.; 8:26 AM
